Thanks so much for sharing, but what size hook do you use?
ReplyDeleteHi,
Deletefor this I used lace crochet and a lace crochet hook of 1.25mm.
Hi. Thankyou for sharing! Im having trouble with the ears.... they are unstuffable as not really 3d and I followed pattern :-/
ReplyDeleteHi, you are welcome!
DeleteAfter you made the ears, it may look like a circle. You need to fold it in half and shape it a bit with your fingers to make it into a cone shape. After that, you will be able to stuff it :)
hi!, and how tall height? =)
ReplyDeletethanks!
Hi,
DeleteUsing lace crochet will produce a kitty of about 6.5cm/ 2.5inches tall. If you use a thicker yarn the kitty will be bigger :)
I am having trouble understanding Round 1. It states to sc 3x in first st and sc in the next 9 and sc 3x in the last st. How do you get 24 st? Even if I turn it and do the same st pattern it's 30 sts.
ReplyDeleteHi Sabrina,
DeleteThe first round will produce an oval shape. Are you getting an oval shape? Maybe you can search youtube for "crochet oval" if you are unsure.
Also, you have to skip the first ch. Sorry I just realized I have missed that out. I will add it in.
If you are still unsure, maybe I can try to take some pictures to show you if you send me your email :)
Thanks!
Omg finally I found hellokitty pattern in english version! Thank u very much for sharing this!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the pattern. I'm making a couple for my sisters for Christmas. I did notice that in round 4 of the legs it says 3 sc, then sc dec x3. And the total should be 9, but to get 9 st total it should only be 2 sc then sc dec 3xs.
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteI am sorry for the late reply. I did not receive notification for the comment! sc dec means single crochet decrease, which is a single decrease stitch. So the pattern is 3 single crochets followed by 3 decreases and then 3 single crochets :)
Hi ^^ thank you for the pattern ..can i sell the finished product? If not..i understand ^^
ReplyDeleteHi,
DeleteHello kitty is actually a copyright character of Sanrio, so I can't tell you if you are able to sell it as I don't own it :)
