Red Angry Bird Crochet Pattern (Free)

Finally found time to share out my red angry bird pattern :D

Materials:
All yarn threads are assumed to be of the same thickness.
Red yarn
White yarn
Yellow yarn
Black yarn
Stuffing



Abbreviations:
sc - single crochet
sc inc - single crochet increase
sc dec - single crochet decrease
ss - slip stitch
ch - chain



Body
With red yarn,
Rnd 1: 6sc into magic ring
Rnd 2: sc inc x 6 times
Rnd 3: (sc inc, sc) x 6 times
Rnd 4: (sc inc, 2 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 5: (sc inc, 3 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 6: (sc inc, 4 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 7: (sc inc, 5 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 8 - Rnd 17 (10 rnds): sc all around

Rnd 18: (sc dec, 5 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 19: (sc dec, 4 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 20: (sc dec, 3 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 21: (sc dec, 2 sc) x 6 times

*Put in the stuffing
Rnd 22: (sc dec, sc) x 6 times
Rnd 23: (sc dec) x 6 times
Fasten off and sew the hole close



Stomach
With white yarn,
Rnd 1: 6sc into magic ring
Rnd 2: sc inc x 6 times
Rnd 3: (sc inc, sc) x 6 times
Rnd 4: (sc inc, 2 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 5: (sc inc, 3 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 6: (sc inc, 4 sc) x 6 times
Rnd 7: (sc inc, 5 sc) x 6 times

Fasten off


Beak
With yellow yarn,
Rnd 1: 4sc into magic ring
Rnd 2: (sc inc, sc) x 2 times
Rnd 3: (sc inc, 2 sc) x 2 times

Rnd 4: sc all around


Eyebrow
(Make 2)
With black yarn,
Row 1: Ch 7, turn
Row 2: sc (from 2nd stitch), sc, ss, ss
Fasten off


Eyes
(Make 2)
With white yarn,
Rnd 1: 6sc into magic ring


With black yarn
ch1, fasten off and sew to the white circle


Hair (the 2 strands of hair on the head)
Long Hair
Rnd 1: 4sc into magic ring
Rnd 2 - 4 (3 rnds): sc all around
Fasten off


Short Hair
Rnd 1: 4sc into magic ring
Rnd 2 - 3 (2 rnds): sc all around
Fasten off

Sew the stomach to the body, note that the stomach should only cover about 1/3 of the "face" area so that there will be enough space for the beak, eyes and eyebrow
Sew the beak to the body
Sew the eyes to the body
Sew the eyebrows to the body
Use black yarn to sew an outline for the eyes
Sew the hairs to the head, note that the longer hair should be around the middle of the top of the head

      you can just use the size recommended for the yarn you are using.. normally it is written on the paper around the yarn when you buy it..
